Hope your Easter was a good one Penny! We like the new pictures you put on your sidebar. Very cool! The colorful Westies are B-eut-E-ful. Cake dog makes us hungry...what's for snacks mommy?? Smooches from pooches, BabyRocketDog & Hootie
We had a good Easter too.We didn't get to eat any candy though. We did get a tiny taste of a Swiss Easter cookie. That was good. Our Daddy flew off to Houston for business, so Mommy and us 2 pups were at home together. Hootie was up ALL night long and our mommy had to keep waking up to take him out. He kept faking her out. Never went pee! he he. Talk to you later. Airekisses, BabyRocketDog
Penny Happy Easter! (A bit late, I know). I confess I am a bit worried about the pink and blue Westies though. I mean, don't go giving folk ideas. Shampoo is quite bad enough I can't be doing with hair dye. We are West Highland WHITE terriers, after all. Cheers, H.
It's a little late to wish you a happy Easter, but I guess we DID celebrate Orthodox Easter today! So, there, Happy Easter!
We saw you had visited to say Happy Birthday to Fergi, and we wanted to come sniff around and meet you and say, "Thanks!" It was a great day, and new friends made it even greater!
Enjoy your week! Your new friends, Jake and Miss Fergi
We're back. Woke up from our nap to change locations and positions. Life is good. Party. Sleep. Stretch. Eat leftovers. Sleep some more. Enjoy the sun. Catch up on blogs. Say hi to friends.
Hope it's the same for you! Fergi (Jake didn't wake up this time)
Hi Penny It's Hamish again. You asked about the tender paws problem. Gail says it's because I'm always licking them and I say I do that because they itch. When my itchy skin and paws get really bad then I have to go to the vet who prescribes a short course of the steroid prednisolone. Nothing else we've tried seems to work. A good strategy is to train your owner to only take you on walks where the ground is nice and soft! Do you have any better ideas? Cheers, H.
Hi Penny When our terriers start to get itchy skin I give the Bob Grass white conditioning tablets, there is also a cream/gel that he advises. There is a sheet he sends out on which one of the westie breeders says how good it is. For around £12 you will get 200 tablets and you only have to have 1 twice a day, our terriers eat them from our hand. http://www.bobgrass.co.uk/ Hope this helps. xx
We hope you have a great easter too!!!!
